Starting in quirky Amsterdam for Christmas & canal boat cruising, you'll glide through some of Europe's coolest cities from Berlin to Budapest, ringing in the new year at Prague along the way. With time for a windmill lands in Amsterdam, a historic tour in Berlin, pub crawl in Prague, and the famous Széchenyi thermal baths in Budapest, you’ll learn the local secrets, taste authentic local eats and live your best life along the way.

Fly in to Amsterdam on Day 1

Amsterdam

Country: Netherlands | 3 Nights

Day 1: Dam Square & Christmas Eve

Our European adventure kicks off in Amsterdam! Fun fact: the city has 1539 bridges, 165 canals, and 2500 houseboats. Yes, you read that right, and it's all here for you to explore.

 

Check-in, freshen up and meetup with your trip mates before we head out to explore the likes of the Dam Square, the Royal Palace and the National Monument.

 

Later, we will visit the Christmas markets adorned with twinkling lights & giant Christmas trees. Here, you can savour a cup of mulled wine and warm delicious treats, glide across the ice skating rink and celebrate with the locals.

Day 2: Canal Cruise & Brewery Experience

Merry Christmas! It's going to be a good day. First up, we’ll do a truly unique boat tour across this pretty canal-lined city. Zigzaging through the waterways, we will pass through various iconic locations of Amsterdam.

 

Next, we’ll visit Heinikin’s oldest brewery to discover how a small Amsterdam brewery went on to become the world’s favourite beer. Learn the brewing process and try a couple of freshly brewed beers yourself!

Rest of the day is free for you to explore. You can catch the sunset from our favourite hangout spot or go local and explore the city on bicycles.

Day 3: Zaanse Schans Windmills & Zaandam

Today, we will step back in time to experience the charm of a traditional Dutch countryside. We’ll visit Zaandam & Zaanse Schans village, where captivating sight of operational windmills, a rustic wooden clog workshop, a quirky looking hotel and picturesque Dutch houses along the river will undoubtedly leave you mesmerised.

 

In the evening, head to the famous Red Light District, explore Amsterdam’s “coffee shop” culture, and experience the nightlife of this eclectic city.

Berlin

Country: Germany | 2 Nights

Day 4:  East Side Gallery & Nightlife

On the world map of party vibes, Berlin has a gold star. We've got two nights to explore every inch of this iconic city, and we'll kick it off with a visit to the east side gallery - longest open-air gallery in the world.

 

The nightlife is also yours for the taking, so this is your chance to check out some of the underground raves or cocktail-lounge-in-the-basement scenarios that make this city a world famous party spot.

Day 5: City Tour & Iconic Points

Today, we will visit the most iconic spots of Berlin with our local guide who will tell us more about the dark days of the Nazis, WWII and how Germany was split into two countries using the Berlin wall.

 

Later check out the cutting-edge culinary scene with your trip leader. We’re talking kebabs, pastries, currywurst, pierogi and local beers (this is Germany after all).

 

Tonight, you can try your luck at getting an entry into Berghain - world’s most popular techno club, where only the coolest of cool are let in!

Day 6: Old Town & Pub Crawl

Moving from one beer capital to another, today we're headed for the charming and historic city of Prague. Upon arrival, our trip leader will lead us through the old town – complete with pretty cobblestone streets, gothic buildings & a quirky clock tower – and point out all the must-dos for our free time later.

 

Tonight, we're diving headfirst into Prague's legendary pub crawl. Picture this: 1 hour open bar, free shots & exclusive entry to the coolest bars and clubs in town – it's a wild ride you won't want to miss!

Day 7: Charles Bridge & Prague Castle

Get into the mood of exploration as we head out on a walking tour with our local guide today. We’ll visit the likes of Charles bridge, Prague Castle, Saint Vitus Cathedral & a vantage point with the best views of the town.

 

Later, we'll visit the iconic John Lennon Wall - This vibrant wall covered in graffiti is a global symbol of peace and you can write your own messages on the wall adding a part of its storied history. Tonight, dinner is up to you but leave room a trdelnik - It’s all your sugary dreams rolled into one cone-shaped, cream-filled, carb-laden dessert.

Day 8: New Town & New Year's Eve

Need some free time to explore? Here’s a free day we kept for you. Checkout the New Town, known for its architecture and visit the famous Dancing House & Rotating Head of Franz Kafka. Take the funicular up Petrin Hill for allll the views. Or go for a beer tasting this afternoon. Czech beers + tapas = good times guaranteed.

Tonight, we’ll head to the town square to bring in the New Year with our crew and believe us, this will be a night you’ll never forget.

Budapest

Day 9: Evening River Cruise

Coming up next? The twin cities of Buda & Pest! Once you've settled in, we'll venture out to explore the central market hall & nearby Jewish quarters. Don’t forget to look out the tram window, the tram ride here is said to be the most scenic in europe.

 

Tonight we’ll take it up a level with a cruise down the Danube. Grab your glass of prosecco and sit on the upper deck – Buda Castle and House of Parliament look even better lit up at night. Trust us.

Day 10: City Tour & Pub Crawl

Ready to explore, we’ll head out on a journey of old and new this morning with a locally guided walking tour of Budapest including the Royal Palace, the Chain Bridge & the Fisherman’s Bastion.

 

Try some local eats for dinner before we head out for tonight’s pub crawl. We’ll visit three ruin pubs where abandoned buildings have been transformed into quirky bars and cap off the night at Budapest’s most awesome club. And ofcourse no pub crawl is complete without drinking, so we give you a free shot at every stop of our crawl.
