Fly in to Auckland on day 1
Auckland
1 night stay
Day 1: Arrival in Auckland
Kia ora! Touching down in New Zealand’s largest city, we’ll meet you at our centrally located hostel to settle in. This evening you’ll meet up with the rest of your travel crew and get excited for all the adventures to come in Aotearoa.

Rotorua

Day 2: Hobbiton & Redwoods
This afternoon we tick off a major highlight as we head to Hobbiton to wander the real-life lush pastures of the Shire as featured in The Lord of The Rings and The Hobbit trilogies. After exploring the set and learning all about movie magic, we’ll enjoy a drink at the Green Dragon Inn before departing for Rotorua.
Once in Rotorua, you can head out with the squad to the redwood forest discovering the extensive walking trails in this 5600 hectare forest.

Day 3: Kaituna River Rafting & Thermal Park
Today, we will head out for one of the most unique & beautiful whitewater rating experiences on earth! A 50 minute action packed ride down 11 wild rapids, 3 epic waterfalls – One of which is the highest rafted waterfall in the world. All of this in a deep, usually warm water jungle canyon!
Later in the evening we’ll visit the Kiurau thermal park where we’ll discover the steaming, hissing and bubbling geothermal activity amongst the crater lake, mud pools and hot springs.

Christchurch
1 night stay
Day 4: Fly to Christchurch
You’ve seen the North Island, now it's time to explore the South Island! After a short included flight we’ll land in Christchurch where we'll take an inspiring tour of the city that was totally rebuilt after the Christchurch earthquake.
Later in the evening we’ll head out with the squad to explore the city’s vibrant food & nightlife!

Day 5: Lake Tekapo & Stargazing
This morning, we are headed to the stunning Lake Tekapo, where our hostel sits right by the lake — offering views you’ll never forget. After lunch, we’ll visit the charming Church of the Good Shepherd, one of the most photographed spots in all of New Zealand.
As night falls, keep your fingers crossed for clear skies. Because stargazing in Tekapo is simply out of this world.

Wanaka
2 nights stay
Day 6: Hooker Valley Trek & Tasman Glacier
This morning we’ll make our way to the charming lakeside town of Wanaka, nestled beneath towering snow-capped peaks. Along the way, we’ll visit the Tasman glacier viewpoint and then take a beautiful hike that leads us to unbeatable views of Aoraki/Mount Cook - the tallest mountain in New Zealand!

Day 7: Discover Wanaka
Another morning waking up to breathtaking natural beauty. How lucky are we? Today is yours to spend, just the way you like. Grab some breakfast at one of the many local cafes here. Kayaking, hiking, skydiving - there’s so much for us adrenaline junkies here.
In the evening, find a spot by the lake, grab a bite, and kick back as the sun sets over Mount Aspiring National Park. What a way to end the day.

Queenstown
3 night stay
Day 8: Explore Queenstown
After travelling to buzzing Queenstown, we’ll get oriented with the high - octane adventure capital of NZ (and dare we say, the world!). Later you have an option to get a splash of adrenaline with a jet-boat ride. Feel the thrill as the highly skilled driver keeps things pumping with 360-degree spins and speeds more than 80km/h.
Day 9: Bungee Jump & Skydive
Free time to explore is all you’ve got today - and oh gosh, there’s no end to what you can do here. Bungy jumping, canyon swings, climbing waterfalls, vineyard tours, zip lining, skydiving - we bet you’ll wanna do it all! Afterwards, you can grab some dinner with your crew before resting your travel-tired limbs for round two of the adventure tomorrow.
Day 10: Milford Sound Cruise
Today we will visit New Zealand's most stunning attraction - the natural wonder of Milford Sound. Jumping on a fjord cruise, we’ll experience the spellbinding combination of mountain peaks, forested cliffs, resident seals, and plummeting waterfalls up close and personal. Pick your jaw up off the floor, this is mother nature at her finest!
Tonight we’ll get the gang together for our final night out in the town! Time to see what this backpacker hub is all about after dark!

Day 11: Goodbyes

Which flights do I need to book?
Arrival:
Book your arrival flight to Auckland (AKL). Any flight that lands anytime on day 1 is suitable for this trip. Hostel Check-in time: 2 PM
Return:
Book your return flight from Queenstown (ZQN). Any flight that departs anytime on day 11 is suitable. Hostel Checkout time: 11 AM

Search for Multi-city flights rather than searching both sectors individually, its cheaper that way.

There are no direct fights from India. You will find connecting flights via Singapore or Australia most probably. Transit is allowed from both countries, you just need a free transit visa for Australia which our team will apply for you.

Airport pickup & dropoff are not included but cabs and airport buses are easily available. Our team will assist you on this.
How is the experience of staying in hostels?
Hostel stays are cozy and social! Expect 4 or 6 bed dorms — some with private ensuite bathrooms, others with shared facilities. Most hostels also offer a community kitchen to cook, chat, and bond with your travel fam.
They’re not as luxurious as hotels, but clean, comfortable, and a big reason we can offer this trip at nearly half the usual cost.
Who can join this trip?
Anyone aged between 18-35 can join this trip. You can join solo, with a friend/partner or in a group. No matter your preference, our trips allow you to have an unforgettable experience with young travellers just like you.
